GETTING TO MANI

Mani is a wild, sun-soaked corner of the Peloponnese, known for its stone villages, dramatic coastline, and quiet beauty. Whether you’re arriving from Athens or flying into Kalamata, the journey is part of the experience—winding roads, sea views, and unforgettable stops along the way.

BY AIR

The nearest airports are:
Kalamata International Airport (KLX) – approx. 1.5–2 hours drive
Athens International Airport (ATH) – approx. 3.5–4 hours drive
Kalamata is the most convenient option if flights are available from your city.

BY CAR

We highly recommend renting a car, as Mani is best explored by
road and public transport options are limited. We have found Hertz to be the most reliable.
The drive itself is scenic and part of the experience.

FAQ

What to expect

Mani is raw, elegant, and deeply authentic — a place defined by stone tower houses, historic villages, and a dramatic coastline with turquoise waters. Its beauty is minimalist, with an understated sense of luxury that feels effortless and timeless. Summer days are warm and sun-filled, while evenings can be breezy, so light layers are recommended for nighttime. As you explore, comfortable footwear is advised, as many paths are stone-paved and the ground can be uneven in places.

What to Wear

Think Mediterranean summer elegance: light fabrics, natural tones, and comfortable shoes (heels with care on stone surfaces). Dress code details will be shared closer to the wedding.

Useful Information

• Currency: Euro (€)
